Really?

This may be a sensitive subject, but can anyone explain to me why people are upset about Rick Ross having a job at 19? I mean there are a lot of arguments that can be made, but basically that's what everyone is mad at, right? Someone possibly working to pay bills? Or wait, maybe everyone is upset because they think he has falsely identified himself as a "bad" man who worked on the street before making it in the music business. Is that it? I'm not sure if people realize this, but it's possible that he did both. And even if he didn't, who can blame him for stretching the truth a bit? Let's face it, each song and cd by any artist is like a resume, haven't all of us stretched the truth a bit on a resume? Do we really have all those talents and skills? Are our references really being bluntly honest about our reliability and work ethic? Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but embellishment seems to come with the territory. I just think that the people whining about Rick Ross's employment several years ago are ridiculous. Yes, ridiculous. Furthermore, I doubt any of them would walk up to him and say it, because whether he was a C.O., drug dealer, pimp, sales manager, retail specialist, high school math teacher, whatever his occupation was, that's a large man and he looks more than capable of defending himself. Everyone should just enjoy what he's doing now, which is making music.
